12-6-09 Güre Belediye vs Optimum Ted Ankara Kolejliler 56-75
Statline: 22pts (9-17) 12rebs
Once again we were in control from beginning to end. I showed my dominance and quickness early which set the tone for the rest of the game. My problem was that I missed all layups with very little contest. It was horrible I could have had 40 points very easily. I was rushing and I was getting so fustrated because I was getting everything I wanted on offense I had my way with them its just I couldn't finish to save my life. I didn't understand why or how. I was embarrassed more than anything. I apologized to everybody because that was a horrible display of basketball period. Thinking back at the game has me extremely aggrivated right now! The other teams best player was leading the league in scoring and rebounding and we held her wayyyyyyyyy under her average. Annnd the easy victory goes to Kolej.
Thats about it with this game nothing notible except being "on the ocean" (shoutouts to K'Jon lol). I have never in my life been that close to a large body of water. I have a great fear plus I just have never been to a beach in my life nor seen anything like it up close. The team was trying to get me to go out on the dock I was like NO!! I stayed my good distance and sat on a bench and just looked out. I kept singing the K'Jon song "Now the tide is comin in/ i see the waves flow away/ out there on the ocean/ i no my ship is comin in/ just past the horizon/ and right where the sky ends/ cuz out there on the ocean/ i no my ship is comin in/ so dont leave me hangin/ i ben waitin here too long/ for this moment/ my ship has finally come" Welllll my ship with the man of my dreams did NOT come an it was chilly I'm not patient like K'Jon was in his song so I went back to the hotel. LOL

Journey Break: Hot Songs...Funny Videos
I wanted to start off by showing this dude jumping out of the 3ft end of a swimming pool. Crazy strength right here omg!!! Amazing
If you missed the all-star game...well you missed out!! It was great. My highlight was Shaq dancing with the Jabawakees and Kevin Garnett clowning Craig Sager. I love Kevin Garnett as a basketball player. He plays so hard and is so emotional...i feel honored to be able to watch him play (and that's a big statement). But on the flipside his personality is amazing...check the clip.
Shaq and the Jabawakees

Coko feat Case...Face To Face...This right here is one of those classic love songs. Definately wedding music. Just a beautiful song about love (yes it's boo season and somebody made me soft...so what!!! lol)

My President...
Well its only fitting that I said something about this piece of world history in the making...I really am at a loss for words. I remember when he was elected I'm all the way in Spain up at 6am watching CNN live watching the millions of people who gathered in Chicago to witness history in person. All I did was cry tears of joy because I think of how far my people have come. From slavery to jim crow, being to sit-ins, protests, marching for our freedom now to see a black man (mulatto man lol) as the president of the United States of America is truly an amazing accomplishment. They use to sing..."O deep in my heart, I do believe, that we shall overcome someday" and we have. I know our ancestors are smiling down right now and what a better birthday present to give Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. than his dream many years in the making is finally coming true!
The famous I have a dream speech:
Our President Barack Obama: A More Perfect Union Speech
Now you know I gotta end all of this with a song! Here it goes the live performance of "My President is Black (REMIX) Jay-Z absolutely killed it this was his rhyme:
My president is black, in fact hes half white
So in even in a racist mind hes half right
If you got a racist mind its all right
My president is black but his house is all white
Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther can walk
Martin Luther walked so Barack Obama could run
Obama ran so all our children can fly
So Imma spread my wings you can meet in the sky
Here's the performance

A Break From The Action
First off, today when I finally woke up I saw that rapper Lil Wayne was going to be arguing with Skip on one of my favorite shows 1st and 10. First thought, "WHAT THE HELL?!?!" I know ESPN don't need the ratings that bad to have these rappers on the show. Last year I saw the ending of when Nelly was on the show and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I mean we all have our "professional" voices but damn!!!!! Mr. Country Grammer himself?? Wasn't nothing country about his grammar at all that day! But, Lil Wayne did a good job. He was calm, real mild mannered and showed he had knowledge of what he was talking about. But Skip!! Lord! He said "I'm a big Prince fan and Tha Carter 3 is your Purple Rain" I damn near lost it. LOL anyways, here is the first short clip of the episode in case u missed it.
My Song of the Day is....Kerri Hilson feat. Lil Wayne
This my anthem right here!!
Hot Lyric Line...All you wanna do is holla at the cutest
Broad to get up in them draws some money
Dont try to buy me
Bottles, got my own dollars I could buy up the bar if I want it...
I gotta b feelin your energy i gotta b fa sure that your feelin me reckognize a real woman..

Song and Funny Clip Of The Day (12-19-08)
Video of the Day
I have ben on a Martin kick thanks to my fellow bored professional Men's Basketball player in Germany, Cleve. He always send me clips of Martin watch this episode or watch that episode. So today I found my favorite episode "Suspiscous Minds" The episode where Martin thinks one of his friends stole his CD player. All I have to say is Kujo (a stuffed animal rockwilder) and Bruh Man. HILARIOUS!!! Here is the last 5 or 6 mintes which is the funniest.
LOL
Song of the Day: In the Way by: Ne-Yo...If you ever been in a relationship and it was always some kind of outside factors keeping you from the person you love.
Lines that hits me the hardest:
And I don't like it no this aint cool/ Feelin like theres something just dont want me near you/ The world/ keeps getting in the way/ Trying to get to you/ but it seems like/ everyday there's something new/ Baby the world/ keeps getting in the way/ With you is where I wanna be/ but it just wont let me/ Cuz it keeps getting in the way...
Yet another classic Ne-Yo song
